Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire is a sleepy community on that part of the island of Montreal that is known as"the West Island. This is also known as the West Island, which is often referred to as an independent "island" located west of Montreal for those unfamiliar with it, actually comprises everything that is west of Lachine. Amanda Brugel is said to be born on the West Island, but the time she spent there was brief. Brugel grew-up in Courtice close to Oshawa. She had a dream to become dancing at first however, due to a rapid growth spurt she surpassed all her dance partners. In an article published by The Toronto Star, she confessed, "In heels I am 6'1 inches tall." As I grew older, my male friends, I quit. Many ex-dancers switch to acting. In Brugel's situation, she was encouraged by a teacher of drama at high school. She was a teacher at the time who advised her to go after a role in the school's annual production. She was suggested by her teacher to try out for a role in the school's annual production. She ended up being chosen to play Anne of Green Gables. Her Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theatre Program where she graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in art degree in fine arts.
